Relationships that last forever - I hope i am able to get this one...

Year 2007: I know this year is a very crucial year for me professionally and personally. This year will decide which way my career is headed it. I know a good performance this year will leapfrog my career to the next level. On the personal front, I have reached a stage where I believe I need somebody to partner me in my travails of life. I seem to have found that special person. I have no clue, whether things will work out and we will end up spending our life together. I can vouch that if I can ever be happy in my life, it will be with this special person. She was there supporting me, when I had my worst emotional low till date. Things though don’t look bright, but as is my wont I never give up!!!!!! If you ever happen read this post, I would like to state the obvious – I don’t know whether I am worthy of you or not, I just love you and will continue to do so!!!! Adios.... My association with all you folks has been a highly humbling one. I see myself to be way behind you folks.

Relationships that last forever - WebEx.....

Year 2005: Back from Abu Dhabi I joined WebEx Communications . Its here I met people who have made me mature as a human being and also a Sales Guy. If my first two jobs were all about all out aggression and in the face kind of attitude, this job has taught me how I could channelise my aggression better. I was mentored by Rejenish (my current Sales Manager) . He made me feel comfortable with the job from the first day. I met Sachin and we instantly hit off (given Sachin’s parents were also in dubai ). The Dubai connection worked well. Sachin and I had similar likes and dislikes . It did not take longer for us to bond well. Ravi was an elusive sales guy then. He hardly spoke to me. I still don’t know why I never felt comfortable with Ravi to begin with. He was this larger than life figure for all of us, as he was a sales guy on the roll getting large accounts to sign off with us. It was only after the first gundu party I attended that I got close with Ravi . Anurag (he no lo

Relationships that last forever - Raghavendra Sir

Year 2001-2002: My first job – Sales Engineer @ Festo Controls – Coimbatore branch . I joined Festo Controls in Bangalore @ Internal Sales Engineer. The feeling of having a job in hand was a great feeling. I was transferred to the branch office @ Coimbatore by end of December 2002. I was to report to one Mr. S Raghavendra – Sales Manager . The only saving grace of reporting to Mr. SR was that he was a Kannadiga too. The initial months under Raghavendra sir was anything but nightmare . I used to get royally jacked in the weekend meetings, where my inefficiency would be pulled up in public glare by Raghavendra sir. I used to daily think of quitting the job and moving back to Bangalore . I had an able ally in Jagadeesan who would comfort me in my times of total strife. The constant jacking got me going. I wanted to prove to Raghavendra sir that I was as good as and maybe better than what he thought of me. My work rate improved and so the results. In no time, the wheel turned a ful

Relationships that last forever - KASS

Year 1997: I joined the “Royal Mech” Branch @ NIE, Mysore . It was a dream come true for me to be @ NIE. My dad had graduated from the very same college as Mechanical Engineer 34 years ago and my doddappa (Dad’s elder brother) had graduated a few years prior to dad from NIE. Then there were instances of many of my relatives having graduated from this prestigious institute. It was great to be back in Mysore after my 5 years stint @ Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala. NIE is the place where I made friendships which have stood the test of time and have only matured into a special blend with each passing day. The best blend of the lot is and will be “KASS – KP, Adi, Shastri & Sam” . Sam & I were hostel mates (KSS hostel, Jayanagar) and being mechies we just had to get together. Sam knew Adi from the CET counseling days and to our luck we found Adi also to be a fellow mechie. Shastri was Adi’s hostel mate at Bettadapura Sanketi Hostel. It was as though destiny had brought us together

Relationships that last forever.....

It has been quite sometime since i wrote a few lines. I felt a need to express my feelings to people who have added great value to my life in the last decade or so. There are many more people than those mentioned in my posts who have contributed to my present living. But amongst them, if i were to choose those who made significant direct impact on my life, these are the people. They have been there through my ups and downs. They have cried with me and have made me smile and smiled with me. They have added value to my life like nobody else and they just continue to do so with every passing day...........
